You don't need expensive imported machines. Most of our clients run POS on affordable Android tablets, laptops, or all-in-one touchscreen terminals. We advise on and supply barcode scanners, 58mm/80mm thermal printers, cash drawers, and inverter/UPS backup — all sourced locally so replacement parts are easy to find.
Setup, training, and support
Setup is done together with you — we come to your shop (or work remotely if you prefer), configure products and prices, train your cashiers, and stay on WhatsApp for questions in the first weeks. Every deployment includes a written user guide in plain English and a short training video your new staff can watch later.
How much does a POS cost in Uganda?
Software setup starts at UGX 1,500,000 for a single shop with one till. Multi-branch, restaurant kitchen printing, and custom reports cost more. Hardware (tablet + thermal printer + scanner + cash drawer) is separate and usually lands between UGX 900,000 and 2,500,000 depending on quality and quantity. Monthly cloud sync and support is a small fixed fee — no per-transaction cuts.

- Will it work when the internet is down?
- Yes. Our POS runs offline and syncs sales to the cloud when internet returns, so cashiers never stop working during outages.
- Can I accept MTN and Airtel Money?
- Yes. Mobile Money is a first-class payment method — cashiers can split a single sale across cash, MTN, Airtel, and card.
- Do I need to buy new hardware?
- Not always. If you already have Android tablets or a laptop, we can install on them. We only recommend new hardware where it makes a real difference to speed and reliability.
- Is the POS EFRIS-compatible?
- We format receipts and export sales in a way that works with EFRIS reporting requirements for URA-registered businesses. We can also connect directly for larger deployments.
- How long does setup take?
- A single shop is usually live in 3 to 7 days including product loading and staff training. Multi-branch setups take 2 to 3 weeks.
- What if my cashier makes a mistake?
- Every action is logged. Owners and supervisors can void, refund, or correct entries — with a reason recorded — so the audit trail stays clean.
