The real cost of not tracking stock
A supermarket owner in Kampala once told us he was losing more than 3 million shillings a month to expired items and untracked shrinkage — and he had no idea until we ran the numbers. Manual stock books, WhatsApp updates from branch managers, and end-of-month counts hide the truth. Our inventory system replaces guesswork with a live picture updated on every sale, purchase, and transfer.
What you get with our inventory system
Every product has a code, a cost price, a selling price, a reorder level, and (where relevant) an expiry date and batch number. When stock hits the reorder level, the system flags it. When items are about to expire, you see it before the customer does. Owners get daily summaries on WhatsApp or email.
- Real-time stock levels across all branches and warehouses
- Automatic reorder alerts with suggested quantities
- Batch and expiry-date tracking for pharmacies and food
- Barcode support (or auto-generated internal codes)
- Stock transfers between branches with approval workflow
- Physical stock-count sheets and variance reports
- Supplier & purchase order management
Who this is for
We've deployed inventory software for supermarkets, hardware shops, spare-parts dealers, pharmacies, restaurants, bakeries, tyre & auto shops, cosmetic distributors, agri-input dealers, and small manufacturers. The same core system flexes to fit your industry.
- Retail: shops, supermarkets, boutiques
- Wholesale & distribution
- Pharmacies & health facilities
- Restaurants, bars, and food producers
- Hardware, auto parts, agri-inputs
- Small factories and workshops
Works with your POS and accounting
Our inventory system pairs cleanly with our POS setups, and it can also integrate with QuickBooks, Xero, Tally or Sage if you already use them. Every sale automatically reduces stock; every purchase increases it. Month-end reports for URA, your auditor, or your bank become a few clicks instead of a week of pain.
Reports that actually help you decide
You'll get simple dashboards for the questions that matter: What's my top-selling item this week? Which products are slow-moving and tying up cash? Which branch is best/worst? What's my true gross margin per category? Reports export to Excel and PDF for meetings.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I need barcode scanners?
- No. You can use auto-generated internal codes and product images. Barcodes speed things up if you have hundreds of SKUs.
- Can I use it if I don't have a POS?
- Yes. Inventory works standalone; you record sales and purchases directly. Later you can add POS.
- How do you handle stock-taking?
- We give you printable count sheets or a mobile scanner mode. The system flags variances against expected stock so you can investigate.
- Can multiple branches see the same stock?
- Yes — with proper role permissions. Branch managers see their own stock; owners see everything.
- Does it work offline?
- The desktop client works offline and syncs. The mobile owner view needs internet.
- How is data backed up?
- Daily automatic cloud backups plus optional local backup. You can export everything to Excel at any time.
